These terms apply to perthwithdan.com.au and the services of Perth with Dan, a sole trader based in Perth, WA (ABN 85 422 349 116). By using the site you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our services

• We provide relocation and settling-in help. We don't give visa or immigration advice; we refer visa questions to registered migration agents (MARA).
• We don't negotiate leases or act as a real estate agent. You apply and sign directly with agents or landlords.
• Information on the site is general. Check important details (for example pet import rules) with the official source.
• We may earn referral fees from partners we recommend, and we'll tell you when that's the case.

Prices and payments

Prices are in AUD unless shown in GBP for UK visitors. GBP prices shown for services are approximate. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Room Finder terms

• Posting is free. Listings stay up for 30 days. Full access (viewing full listings, contacting posters and swing matching) is a one-off A$14.99 (£7.99 in the UK) and is non-refundable once access is granted (see our no-refunds policy).
• We don't vet people or properties. We check listings before they go live, but we don't verify identities, rooms, rents or anyone's claims. You deal with other users at your own risk and should do your own checks.
• Never pay a bond, rent or any money before viewing the room in person or by live video, and always get a written agreement and receipt.
• Your number is shown to paid members. By posting, you agree that your WhatsApp number and listing details are shown to people who have paid for full access, so they can contact you directly.
• Only post accurate listings for rooms you're entitled to rent out, or genuine room requests. No discrimination, spam, scams or offensive content.
• We can remove listings or block access at any time, for example if a listing breaks these terms or we receive complaints.
• Full access is for personal use on your device. Don't copy, scrape or resell listings.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for arrangements between users, or for losses from relying on general information on the site. Our consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law still apply.
