Perth with Dan is run by a sole trader in Perth, WA (ABN 85 422 349 116). In this policy "we", "us" and "Dan" mean Perth with Dan. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as good practice.

What we collect

• Details you give us on WhatsApp or in forms: name, phone/WhatsApp number, where you're moving from, dates, budget and what help you need.
• Room Finder listings: the details, photos and WhatsApp number you post.
• Payment confirmation from Stripe (we never see or store your full card details).
• Basic technical data your browser stores on your device, such as your currency choice and whether you've unlocked the Room Finder.

Why we use it

• To reply to you and provide the services you ask for.
• To run the Room Finder, including showing your listing and WhatsApp number to paid members.
• To process payments and refunds, and keep records we're required to keep.
• To introduce you to partners, but only when you ask or agree.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with services that help us run the site (such as our web host, database and Stripe for payments), with partners you've asked to be introduced to, or where the law requires. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia (for example in the US or EU); we use reputable providers with strong security.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information and delete or de-identify it when we no longer need it. Room Finder listings are removed after they expire or when you ask.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or remove your listing, at any time. You can use a nickname when contacting us, though we may need your real details to deliver some services.
